While in country in August 2006, Bro. Danny Watkins went in search of a pastor that would have local ties and a great heart for serving the Lord.

God was with Bro. Danny and sent us Pastor Renee Cardenas and his wife Mercedes to serve as our new Pastor of the Lamb of God Church ! 

Some of the immediate needs are:

completion of pastor's residence (need to pour concrete floor, build 2 walls for creation of addition bedroom)

cost of truck repair = $600 (truck should now last many years. Pastor uses this as ministry vehicle in visits &, carrying food and supplies to poor in local community)

newly created soccer team (coached by pastor's son) is traveling around and needs completion of a soccer field at the church so as to use this sport in reaching the local youth as soccer is a national sport.

He currently receives a salary of $ 132 per month. With this he pays all his personal expenses, food, truck fuel, and other expenses. Although he has been provided a residence the other daily needs can very quickly absorb his income. If you feel lead to help in some way please contact us asap.

One teaching that is being difficult to convey to the congregation is the need to tithe. The members currently are not giving as them should but we pray this will come about soon. Until then, the improvements to the facility and support of our pastor must come from other sources.

Crop project for the support of the church has been started but as we all know in the beginning of most projects, money is required as another type of "seed" to help things get going successfully. There is a need to help purchase seed, pesticides, fertilizer, etc. for this project.

Another project is to plant fruit bearing trees all across the facility. However this again takes financial assistance at this time.
