During April 2004, Brother Borden met with Jimmy Hughes, left, and his wife Jessica. Christ Outreach Ministries committed to being a supportive ministry to Jimmy Hughes to help Jimmy with his children's home and whatever else the Lord would have us do to serve the needy in Honduras.

The Hughes's work with First Lady Aguas Ocana de Maduro, caring for Honduras' orphans. She personally selects all of the children for Jimmy's home.

He also has a rehabilitation center and runs a youth prison. Jimmy Hughes is chaplain over all of the prisons in Honduras, is spiritual adviser to the first lady and the chiefs of staff. He is also chaplain over the military and police in Honduras.
 

The focus of Jimmy Hughes Ministry is the saving of souls and raising up leaders, with a specialized focus on the military, government, police and prisons. He also has outreach ministries to gang members, drug and alcohol addicts and people with other disorders.

His general objective has no boundaries. It extends from the poorest person to the presidents of nations, to the children and the elderly, to men and women, with the intent of letting people know who Jesus is and how He can change lives.

He teaches that we are not merely Christians, but are sons and daughters of the most high God.
